Russia’s State Duma election has entered its last day, and voters were still making their way to polling stations. The whole voting process was spread over three days, and now it is coming to a close.
Local media said that in Moscow, many of those who turned up to vote were driven by two simple reasons. One was a sense that voting is something they should do, part of their civic responsibility. The other was hope that the country’s future can improve, and that life ahead might look a little brighter.
