An open alert circulating online has called on international law enforcement to investigate Colonel Saw Chit Thu of the Karen National Army (KNA) regarding his alleged ties to the Koe Mae Ne compound, also known as Meila Park. The appeal demands a closer look into the facility's operations, though these allegations have not been officially verified by authorities.
According to reports cited in the alert, an estimated 600 Indian citizens and nearly 1,000 Chinese nationals are allegedly trapped inside the park, facing forced labor, physical abuse, unlawful detention, and coerced participation in online scams. The organizers specifically urged the FBI and U.S. law enforcement to examine whether the site is running transnational pig-butchering investment fraud targeting the American public, including the elderly, noting reporting channels such as tips.fbi.gov and ic3.gov.
The alert also called on the Indian government to verify the situation of its citizens and assist in their safe repatriation, while appealing to embassies, investigative reporters, and human rights organizations to look into the situation. As international scrutiny over regional cyber scam hubs continues to mount, questions surrounding local armed factions and their compound connections remain in the spotlight. Neither Saw Chit Thu nor KNA representatives have publicly responded to the allegations so far.
