I just saw on my phone that local media reported Cambodia's Ministry of Information recently introduced an award called the "Zero Fake News Media and Content Creator Award." They picked five winners this time to recognize their efforts in creating content and debunking fake news online.

Honestly, whether I'm sipping iced coffee at a street stall or waiting at a traffic light on my motorbike, I often come across all sorts of wild rumors. These five award winners have produced videos and articles that are not only creative but also ethical, making a positive impact on society, especially in the Mekong region, by busting myths.

Living here, you see everyone on their phones all the time, and fake news can spread faster than motorbike exhaust. The local authorities introduced this award to encourage more people to create reliable content that has a positive social impact. Hopefully, when folks are scrolling through videos after a late shift, they'll encounter less fake news.
