On September 16, Tourism Minister Hun Thoeun took a team to Balaing District to check out the progress on the Cambodian People's Party office and the meeting hall, as well as the road construction.
Hun Thoeun led the visit himself, likely to make sure everything's on track.
Local reports suggest that the main goal of this inspection was to ensure these projects move forward smoothly. Folks around here are hoping the improved roads will make getting around a lot easier.
