Things got a bit out of hand in Kratie province’s Snuol district recently when a group of young girls took an online feud offline, meeting up in an empty lot to settle things with their fists.

Passersby filmed the fight and posted it to Facebook, where the video quickly went viral. After seeing the footage, the local police chief immediately ordered officers to track down the five underage girls involved and bring them in for questioning.

According to police, the girls started arguing online over their boyfriends before agreeing to meet face-to-face in a vacant lot to fight, while bystanders recorded the whole thing on their phones. It didn't take long for the video to circulate online and catch the attention of the authorities. During questioning, the girls openly admitted to the fight.

Online arguments spilling over into physical street fights among youth has become a growing headache here. Local police are now wrapping up their case file and will hand it over to the Kratie Provincial Court prosecutor to proceed with legal action.
