A few days ago, the district chief and his team visited two bridges and delivered some essential supplies to over fifty struggling families in a place called Thma Andaeuk. Life isn't easy for them there.
The district chief mentioned that the community received three major benefits this year. First, a newly built rubber road now connects them to the national highway, making travel much easier. Second, the government plans to replace the old wooden bridge with a new concrete one, which will help locals transport their agricultural products. Construction is set to start next month and should take about two years to complete. Third, a dam is in the works to assist with farmland irrigation.
Local officials say these projects are the result of government efforts to improve living conditions. The district chief also advised everyone to keep an eye on political parties' actions and not be swayed by empty promises during election times.
