Holding a cup of tea, he reminded everyone that grassroots work cannot just float in the clouds. Officials need to get out into people's homes, listen to what they are actually lacking or struggling with, and solve problems where it hurts instead of just putting on a show.
During the meeting, the official shared plenty of practical advice. He noted that veteran cadres need to pass their experience down to the younger generation, while newcomers must use their heads. Routine tasks like household registration, paperwork, and division of labor need to be handled carefully without cutting corners. More importantly, everyone must keep a close eye on this year's voter list verification, reminding eligible neighbors to register on time in preparation for next year's commune elections. If residents run into trouble with documents or everyday paperwork, grassroots cadres need to step in and help right away so public service doesn't drop the ball.
According to a report given by local officials at the meeting, Snoul district currently covers six communes and 46 villages, with a large adult population and over 50,000 registered voters. The working group repeatedly stressed that when it comes to daily headaches on the streets like security, drug crackdowns, and illegal gambling, enforcement must be firm and services must be quick. Only by treating the everyday issues of ordinary people as serious business can officials walk the streets with a clear conscience.
