Poipet authorities staged a major raid yesterday in the O'Chrov commune, surrounding a block of 42 shophouses to bust an online scam operation hidden inside.
Officers rounded up 37 Indonesian nationals at the scene, including 15 women. Authorities confiscated 12 mobile phones, 62 all-in-one desktop computers, and two CPU towers as evidence.
The suspects have been sent to a local shelter for questioning, and the building has been sealed off. Police are currently tracking down the landlord as part of the ongoing investigation.
