Hey, so word on the street is, over near Three Pagodas Pass in eastern Myanmar, there's a spot called "Waterfall." Not a real waterfall, mind you, but one of those dark compounds. Around here, folks privately call these "scam parks" or "fraud compounds."
Inside, there are two companies, "Yuan Cheng Group" and "Rui Feng Group." They're both operating out of the same place, packed in tight. Together, they've got about 700 people working there. Their main gig is scamming – things like "China plates" (Chinese investment scams), "military packages" (military-themed scams), and domestic romance scams. That's their whole playbook. Just think about all the poor folks who get caught in their traps.
Over at Yuan Cheng, the boss is supposedly "Second Brother," and the main manager is "You Dong." Below them, there are team leaders like "Mu Mu," "White Bone," "Nameless," "Chen Huai," and "Caesar." Just hearing those names, you know they're not good news – probably all tough characters. For Rui Feng, the boss is "Great Sage." The managers there are "Xiao Mei," "Rocket," "A Lei," and someone called "Old Claw." Word is, "Old Claw" is specifically in charge of "picking people up" – that whole human trafficking thing, tricking people and then selling them to the compound. This kind of stuff isn't really a secret around here anymore. You hear whispers about it on the street corners sometimes.
But the scariest part is You Dong, that main manager from Yuan Cheng Group. He just came over from Cambodia a month ago, and his methods are brutal, absolutely inhumane. I heard he smashes fingers for nothing, and even does waterboarding – you know, where they lay someone down, cover their face with a cloth, and just keep pouring water. Gives you chills just thinking about it. Hearing about things like this, it keeps you up at night. Worse than pulling an all-nighter. Places like that, they treat people like animals. No humanity at all. Even the exhaust fumes from the motorbikes around there feel like they carry a heavy, oppressive vibe.
