Sanming police announced on September 10 that they recently raided a hidden telecom fraud den, hauling in 76 suspects in a swift, coordinated sweep.
During the raid, officers seized a massive cache of criminal tools, including 107 mobile phones, 90 computers, telephone SIM cards, specialized scam scripts, and detailed ledger books. Judging by the scale of the setup, the operation had been running for quite some time.
All 76 suspects have been dealt with according to the law, and further investigations are underway. Anti-fraud loudspeakers can now be heard frequently on streets and alleys. Making money isn't easy these days, so it pays to stay on your guard whenever you're out and about.
