According to the organization, most of these individuals entered Cambodia on valid documents before being lured and detained by criminal syndicates, who coerced them into running cyber scams. Even after being rescued, many remain stuck in immigration holding centers for extended periods, coping with inadequate food and accommodation.
The NGO has urged Bangladesh to arrange special flights to expedite their return. As of now, Cambodian authorities have not issued an official response to the appeal.
