Recent satellite imagery reveals extensive construction, with neatly lined clusters of buildings and internal roads already laid out, while nearby open lands continue to be developed into new compounds. According to reports by The Irrawaddy, Chinese-dominated scam syndicates have been moving personnel in from older bases, renting large residences—including homes owned by DKBA officers—at annual rates between 300,000 and 400,000 Thai baht.

The expansion is accompanied by an aggressive hiring push. Recruitment posts on Telegram since late August have explicitly sought candidates with prior scam industry experience, also requiring applicants to submit blood test results. Rather than dismantling the syndicate networks, border law enforcement has once again triggered a strategic migration, setting up shop in rural pockets that regular online maps have yet to register.
