The suspect, surnamed Li, confessed that armed guards opened fire on workers attempting to flee the Jinxin compound following severe abuse. Investigators sifted through over 46,000 data records to track down a key compound administrator operating under the alias "Li Jin" (real name Li Moubo).

Through tactical psychological pressure via social media, police eventually prompted Li to cooperate, leading him to hand over an internal death list containing 29 victims. Authorities have since verified the identities of all deceased individuals and contacted their families.
