In the early hours of October 6, three armed men suspected to be Chinese nationals broke into a luxury residence near Pattaya. Holding a foreign resident at gunpoint, they seized large amounts of cash and Rolex watches while coercing the victim into transferring cryptocurrency on the spot.

According to Thai police, the stolen crypto alone amounted to approximately $820,000, bringing the total estimated loss to nearly 37 million baht (around $1.07 million). Local authorities are currently actively searching for the suspects.
