Acting on a tip-off, officers targeted a local residential property where the foreign group was staying and using computers and smartphones to run gambling operations. During the search, police seized six computers, 39 mobile phones, and a range of computer equipment.

The suspects, aged between 22 and 51, are currently held in police custody while Thalangama police continue their investigation.
