The deported individuals came from countries including China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, the UK, and France. Among them, 23 Vietnamese nationals suspected of involvement in online scams were repatriated via special flights and border checkpoints, while others were expelled for illegal entry, forged documents, fake visas, kidnapping, drug offenses, and illegal labor.

The operation was conducted under directives from Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sar Sokha, following Prime Minister Hun Manet's mandate to crack down on online crime and illegal residency. Authorities noted that investigations into syndicate leaders and victim rescue efforts remain ongoing.
