The group comprises 116 men and 2 women. The vast majority are tied to telecom fraud, with 113 individuals suspected of operating cross-border scams and the remaining 5 suspected of illegal border entry.

All individuals have been taken into custody by Chinese law enforcement at the border and will undergo further legal investigation upon their return.
