The operation hit two separate locations. In the town of Siay, authorities intercepted and rescued at least 80 Chinese nationals. Simultaneously, in the municipality of Alicia, roughly 100 more Chinese citizens were apprehended, reportedly running fraudulent schemes from inside tents.
Investigators are currently processing the detainees to verify their identities and determine their exact involvement in scam operations.
