Covering over 300 mu with more than 20 buildings, the complex was originally developed by She Zhijiang's Yatai Group as upscale offices and an entertainment park, boasting amenities like a water park, go-kart track, and artificial beach. Following widespread crackdowns, syndicates fleeing cleared compounds simply moved in and leased the office buildings to resume operations.
While it presents itself as a luxury resort from the outside, the interior remains heavily secured with high perimeter walls and iron-barred windows. The fancy wrapper has done little to change the reality: it has quietly become another massive, fortified scam compound.
