On the morning of September 28, Sao Sokha, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces and Commander of the National Military Police, met in Phnom Penh with roughly 80 personnel bound for Hanoi. Hosted at the 249th Engineer Brigade of the Vietnam People's Army, the trilateral drill runs from September 29 to October 15, focusing on emergency disaster response, humanitarian relief, and civilian protection operations.
Sao Sokha instructed the troops to maintain strict discipline, comply with local Vietnamese regulations, prioritize health and safety, and take advantage of the joint training to exchange technical expertise with regional counterparts.
