The operation was led by Deputy Governor Meng En. During the inspections, law enforcement officers found a total of 35 foreign nationals, including 4 women, primarily from Vietnam, China, and Myanmar.
In 5 of these rental houses, police confiscated a large number of computers, mobile phones, and Wi-Fi equipment, uncovering direct evidence of online scam operations.
All suspects and physical evidence have now been handed over to the Anti-Cyber Crime Office of the Svay Rieng Provincial Police. The 5 locations involved have been temporarily sealed, and the case is undergoing further legal processing.
