Early this morning, enforcement teams raided four KTV lounges in Pluak Daeng District, named in local reports as Qingren KTV, Xingwei KTV, World Party and Junyue KTV. Preliminary investigations revealed that none of the four establishments held valid entertainment operating licenses, with two of them also suspected of facilitating illegal prostitution.

Officers noted that several of the raided venues specifically targeted Chinese clientele. Pluak Daeng sits beside industrial estates with many Chinese-invested factories and expatriate staff, and these venues offered private VIP rooms, female hostesses, and expensive liquor, with Vietnamese women also discovered working on the premises. The operation reflected an organized cross-border recruitment and service network.

Police are currently tracing the operators, recruiters, and behind-the-scenes financiers, while investigating whether any state officials were involved or offering protection. With high-level officials directly overseeing the crackdown, the gray entertainment circuit catering to local industrial zones faces an immediate chill.
