Da Nang police recently announced the outcome of an illegal immigration enforcement operation. Officers inspecting foreigner residency records in Hai Chau Ward caught four Chinese citizens who had entered Vietnam unlawfully and were residing locally without valid permits, triggering an immediate probe by the municipal immigration authority.

The four individuals were identified as Zhang BaoJun, Li Jun, Zhang He, and Li Xiao Dong, with ages ranging from their twenties to forties. Following identity verifications and relevant legal investigations, a specialized working team from the Da Nang police officially completed transfer formalities, handing all four over to Chinese authorities.

Authorities across tourist hubs like Da Nang have visibly stepped up scrutiny on foreign rentals and short-term tenants, issuing stern reminders to locals against sheltering undocumented foreigners. Without lawful visas, dodging neighborhood inspections and routine immigration sweeps usually leads straight to detention and deportation.
