Cambodia's Senate recently received over $1.6 million in aid from South Korea. This donation, from the Global Life Sharing Fund, includes medicines, insecticides, and everyday supplies.

This marks the 24th time the fund has supported Cambodia, focusing on impoverished families and disaster-stricken communities. Local reports highlight that this aid aims to improve living conditions, especially for refugees near the Thai border.

Senate officials mentioned that the supplies will be distributed to hospitals and health centers across various provinces to ensure they reach those in need. South Korea has shown consistent support for Cambodia, with this partnership dating back to 2022.
