Early in the morning, just after five, Myanmar's security forces got a tip-off about a suspicious spot near Nankan Village in Hsipaw Township, Shan State. They quickly formed a team to check it out.

When they arrived, they found something fishy indeed. They arrested 13 people, including 9 Chinese nationals. It turns out they were involved in online gambling and fraud. On-site, they discovered a mix of items: rifles, bullets, mobile phones, laptops, Starlink equipment, and solar panels.

Locals say this isn't the first time something like this has happened in Shan State. The local media is covering the story, and everyone hopes these operations will be shut down soon.
