Recently, the police in Sihanoukville have really ramped up their efforts, conducting thorough checks to crack down on telecom fraud. However, this intense approach has led to some wrongful detentions, raising questions among the community.
The owner of a frozen goods shop, Mr. Chen, shared that today the police were investigating a small hotel, suspecting it was involved in fraud. Unfortunately, many people were taken in, including two of his employees who were just resting there. Mr. Chen emphasized that both young men had valid documents and there were no computers in their room, so they were definitely not involved in any scams.
