A foreign national trapped in a scam compound near Myawaddy Township, Kayin State, has issued an urgent public appeal. According to the whistleblower, approximately 1,000 Indian citizens are detained at the site alongside nationals from China, the Philippines, Nepal, Indonesia, and other countries. The facility is secured by heavily armed guards with apparent backing from local armed elements, with multiple checkpoints cutting off any route of escape.

Detainees inside are subjected to severe abuse, including beatings, electric shocks, and torture. Seeking immediate intervention, the whistleblower disclosed the compound's precise GPS coordinates (16.9635420, 98.2402172, near Pu Lwe Bu / Dee Tha Khee), urgently calling on the Indian Embassy, Indian authorities, and Myanmar police to launch a rescue operation.
