According to on-site reports, around 40 individuals have been taken away by authorities, and processing is currently ongoing. Those detained reportedly include undocumented foreigners and freelance operators. The group consists of approximately 15 Indonesian nationals, 12 Chinese nationals, and around 12 individuals from other countries.
For some time, many operating on the fringes sought refuge outside fortified compounds, renting units in residential apartments to work independently and avoid high-profile attention. However, this multi-national sweep demonstrates that standard residential towers in the city are subject to the same rigorous checks, with legal visas and valid documentation serving as immediate screening criteria.
Authorities are still handling the detained individuals, and the final outcomes remain to be seen. The clear reality on the ground is that local inspections have widened, leaving virtually no safe harbor for those without proper paperwork or lingering along gray-market lines.
