The group, consisting of nine men and three women, was arrested by local military police on September 22 following a raid on a townhouse in Village 2, Sangkat 2, where they were allegedly running an aggravated cyber fraud scheme.
Military police have transferred all 12 suspects to the Sihanoukville Provincial Prison pending trial.
