On September 26, local police in Bac Ninh, Vietnam, tracked down and arrested two wanted Chinese nationals. One of them, Huang Gensheng, was wanted by police in Zhejiang for embezzling and selling factory goods worth over 434,000 RMB while working as a warehouse manager. The other, Li Fang Han, was wanted by authorities in Longgang, Zhejiang, for allegedly trafficking fake VAT invoices to help more than twenty companies fraudulently claim export tax rebates.
Just one day after their arrest, on September 27, Bac Ninh police escorted both men to the Huu Nghi International Border Gate in Lang Son and formally handed them over to Chinese police. Crossing the border offers little cover once coordinates are locked in.
