On October 11, the Ministry of Commerce announced the latest nationwide retail fuel ceiling. Effective from 1:00 PM on October 11 through October 21, regular gasoline is set at 5,350 Riel per liter, while diesel is priced at 5,550 Riel per liter across all gas stations.
Because Cambodia relies entirely on imported fuel, authorities adjust retail price caps every ten days based on fluctuations in international crude benchmarks. Diesel prices staying higher than regular gasoline continues to place direct pressure on logistics fleets, heavy construction machinery, and industrial generator running costs.
Expatriates operating freight routes between Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville or relying on daily car rentals will need to factor these figures into their operational overhead for the next ten days.
