It all started back in January 2026. I was looking for work on TikTok when a guy wearing glasses got in touch with me. He claimed he had a job doing proxy gambling in a casino, emphasizing that I wouldn't have to step foot inside any gated compound. It sounded harmless enough, so I went over to his shop to hear him out.
At the shop, he pitched it like a simple shill job: if I won, the money was mine to keep; if I lost, he would cover the tab. He then brought me over to Star Casino. At first, things actually went well—I was up by three or four thousand dollars. But when I told them I wanted to call it a day and walk out, they blocked me. Four or five guys surrounded me and forced me to keep betting until I lost every single cent. After that, they dragged me straight into an office.
I kept telling them I was only playing on someone else's behalf, but they refused to listen. They threatened to beat me if I didn't cooperate, forcing me to sign papers and record a video on camera. In a bid to save myself, I dropped the names of Hun Dou and Hun To, but that only made them snatch my phone away.
The very next day, they sold me off to the White House Hotel area in Koh Kong. From there, I was trafficked further and resold into Myanmar. I only managed to escape that nightmare in the end with the help of my older brother.
The casino traps around here run ridiculously deep, and so many people are getting ruined by them. I really hope the relevant authorities look into that shop so no one else falls into the same trap.
