If those loyal boys weren't propping him up, what would he even be? He can't fight, and he can't get a single thing done.
When the good times are rolling, he’s surrounded by a crew of solid, loyal guys. But the moment trouble comes knocking, he’s the first one out the door, running faster than anybody without a single shred of accountability. Out in the streets, he’s a spineless coward who wouldn't dare stand up to real rivals, but behind closed doors, he loves playing power games with his own team. When a mess happens, he never looks in the mirror; he just dumps all the blame on his crew to take the fall. You see this type all the time around Sihanoukville: utterly silent when outsiders push him around, but a master at throwing his own people under the bus.

Instead, he treats kiss-asses and hometown cronies like gold, getting scammed by them over and over again without ever learning a thing. He hoards unpaid wages, feeds everyone endless pie-in-the-sky promises, and the second a guy loses his usefulness, he kicks him straight to the curb. Living off spent goodwill and burning every bridge in town just to chase his next high at the casino tables, a guy like this is running out of road. Sooner or later, he’s going to wreck himself completely.
