Thailand’s Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) and its Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD) have struck again, following the trail of their ongoing "SEVENTY-FOUR MILLION" operation to bust an online gambling ring operating under the handle "premsuk365."
During the raid, officers arrested three suspects—Chaiwat, Athipat, and Naret—and seized over 3 million baht in assets. According to local media, the syndicate was running a massive illegal gambling racket. With the suspects behind bars and their assets frozen, the case has been handed over to the legal authorities for further prosecution.
Chatter about the bust has been making the rounds at roadside tea stalls and among late-night moto-taxi riders. With the authorities cracking down harder than ever on tech crimes these days, it seems like every other week some people rent a room, set up a few computers for a get-rich-quick scheme, and end up getting their doors kicked in by the police while their exhaust fans are still humming. At the end of the day, keeping your head down and making an honest living is still the safest bet.
