At Angkor Wat, a team has uncovered 300 ancient artifacts, and the museum staff is busy cleaning them up. These items were actually found back in 2020 during some digging work, but they've only recently been sent to the museum for cataloging and restoration.
Officials mentioned that most of these artifacts are made from sandstone, while some are crafted from mountain rock and pottery. The cleaning process involves both dry and wet methods, and it requires a lot of care since some pieces are quite fragile.
So far, they've managed to clean 10 items, but there's still a long way to go. Just one stone can take one to two weeks to clean, so it's a meticulous task.
